Biomedical Carleton Applied Research and Engineering (BioCARE) Design Team

Biomedical Carleton Applied Research and Engineering Team is a brand new design team offered to students at Carleton University. We are a group of students with a passion for harvesting change in the biomedical industry with the help of engineering and advances in technology. We focus on prosthetic design giving students a platform to design, build and test prosthetics all while developing industry standard skills and practices. As a team we will design, build and test a prosthetic limb with the intent of participating in both regional and international competitions. BioCARE places an emphasis on practical prosthetic design with a mindset focusing on patient oriented, adaptive, novel and evolving solutions. Our club has weekly meetings on Thursdays from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Please come out and meet us!
