We represent and hold events for students geared towards programs in Carletons department of Electronics Society programs from workshops to social events.

Following its formation over a decade ago the Egyptian Student’s Association (ESA) has but one primary target: to work towards cultivating an environment heavily enriched with the same energy and joy that is Egyptian culture. Through various events and activities, we aim to promote engagement between the Egyptian community in order to recreate that feeling of home. Moving away from home is an adventure but also a challenge, nevertheless. Join us in breaking the barrier and creating a community away from home!

Engineers Without Borders is an organization that wants to see a world where the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals have been achieved. Carleton Chapter organizes several initiatives on the local level, from activities within Carleton University, advocacy events, to educational sessions and high school student events to talk about how engineers can make a difference in the world.

The Environmental Science Student Association (ESSA) is an academic society that brings together like-minded students from the Institute of Environmental Science to engage peers in academic and social activities. ESSA builds community and is a great opportunity to meet fellow students within the Environmental Science Program. ESSA has organized social events, mentorship programs, and many other projects initiated through membership participation. Meetings are held weekly in the ESSA room at 4440 in the Herzberg building! The purpose of this organization is to create an inclusive space for Eritrean and Ethiopian students, regardless of religious or political views. It serves as an open space for anyone from any and all backgrounds regardless of ancestry, who are interested in learning more about the Ethiopian/Eritrean experiences, cultures and events.

The FSSS is a Carleton University society that supports all Food Science students and alumni. The objectives of the Society shall be to promote and foster a collective community for the purposes of personal, social, and intellectual growth within the Food Science students at Carleton University. The FSSS in its affairs shall strive to ensure equal treatment of all individuals without discrimination based on personal beliefs or characteristics, race, political views, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, residency, language, or mental or physical disability.

Girl Gains is a club that focuses on female weight lifting and empowering women! We host a variety of events through out the year, including work out classes, informational sessions, and much more.

Global Minds Carleton positively impacts global issues through awareness campaigns, fundraisers and hands on volunteering.

The Gujarati Carleton Association is a vibrant community dedicated to celebrating and preserving Gujarati culture at Carleton University.
